GDZIE?

On February 19, we celebrate Polish Science Day – a young but meaningful holiday established in 2020. The date is no coincidence: it marks the birthday of Nicolaus Copernicus, a symbol of bold thinking and groundbreaking discoveries. On this day, we especially honor the contributions of Polish scientists – from Copernicus, through Marie Skłodowska-Curie and Ignacy Łukasiewicz, to contemporary researchers – in advancing science, technology, and society.

It’s also a moment to remember that science is a foundation for a country’s development and a proven way to make the world a better place. Through passion, curiosity, and perseverance, researchers create solutions that have a real impact on the economy, safety, and daily life.

In this spirit, teams at the Łukasiewicz Research Network, including Łukasiewicz – AI, combine knowledge, experience, and modern technology to support innovation and progress in Poland.

On Polish Science Day, we extend our gratitude to all researchers, engineers, and institute staff for their daily commitment, responsibility, and courage in exploring the unknown.

To everyone involved in advancing science and to aspiring future scientists, we wish endless curiosity, passion, and determination in turning knowledge into tangible change. Thanks to them, both science and Poland have a bright future.
