DoPracyPJM
Title of the Social Innovation: DoPracyPJM
Project Title: Social Inclusion Incubator 2.0
The objective of this social innovation is to develop and test the “DoPracyPJM” online communication platform, designed to support Deaf individuals in the workplace and facilitate their integration with hearing colleagues. The communication platform consists of the following components: A repository of recordings in Polish Sign Language (PJM) containing ready-to-use educational materials, including:Personalized terminology dictionaries tailored to specific industries and professions,
Communication phrasebooks (mini conversation guides) supporting everyday workplace interactions,
A web application providing easy access to the above resources, enabling users to utilize them conveniently during daily work activities, including on smartphones.
In addition, the platform will allow users to create and upload new resources, enabling continuous development and adaptation to the specific needs of different work teams.
The DoPracyPJM platform offers communication tools that facilitate cooperation between Deaf and hearing employees within the same workplace. By reducing communication barriers, it promotes social inclusion, mutual understanding, collaboration, and the development of positive interpersonal relationships between Deaf and hearing individuals.
The platform also supports the deinstitutionalization process by promoting the independence of Deaf people in their everyday environment, particularly in the workplace, strengthening their autonomy, participation, and ability to shape interpersonal relations.
