Task title: “Sensory Experience Laboratory” – Acronym: “SON”
Agreement signed on April 19, 2022.

The main goal of the Sensory Experience Laboratory project is to promote science through solutions aimed at preventing the social exclusion of people with disabilities, as well as to disseminate information and knowledge about modern technologies developed by Łukasiewicz – EMAG.
The Laboratory is an initiative centered on organizing workshops that feature interactive exhibition spaces in the form of workstations. These workstations showcase innovative solutions designed for people with disabilities, offering modern formats that encourage active engagement with culture and science.
The Laboratory aims to present these solutions not only to people with disabilities and the elderly but also, importantly, to raise awareness among young people. It seeks to foster social integration and help break down barriers related to disability.
A series of workshops with accessible workstations will serve as a tool for public education on disability and social exclusion. Additional outreach will include a dedicated website, presentations, posters, and open-access publications made available to users and the scientific community through journals and conferences.
Disability and social exclusion are important scientific and societal challenges. Therefore, spreading knowledge in these areas should reach not only researchers, but above all, the general public.
