\nTitle: \u201cInnovative Wireless Communication System in Room-and-Pillar Workings of Underground Mining Facilities.\u201d<\/p>\n
PROJECT GOAL:<\/p>\n
The project concept is based on developing a comprehensive system solution that ensures wireless communication in underground workings, with particular focus on communication and data transmission in the area of the extraction front within the room-and-pillar mining system. The proposed solution aims to provide radio and emergency broadcast communication for extraction fronts, mining machine routes, mechanical and mining chambers, and other hazardous areas where wired communication systems are not feasible. The system will ensure full radio coverage within the designated workings area using wireless, autonomous (battery-powered) transceiver devices.
\nData transmission from the extraction fronts to the surface in this new communication system will be based on hybrid solutions combining wireless and wired technologies. <\/p>\n
PLANNED OUTCOMES:<\/p>\n
As part of the project, an innovative, integrated radiocommunication system will be developed to ensure communication, data transmission, and warning signals in room-and-pillar workings at the operational front. The proposed solution aims to establish a radiocommunication system functioning in those areas of the mine where wired communication solutions are not feasible. <\/p>\n
