At the \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 AI Institute, we develop technologies based on advanced data analytics, digital models, and decision-support systems. These solutions are increasingly being applied in new, rapidly developing fields.  <\/p>\n\n<p>One of them is professional sport, where data analysis and modern technologies are beginning to play a key role in training processes, team management, and monitoring athletes\u2019 performance. That is why we are particularly pleased about the opportunity to collaborate with one of the most recognizable sports clubs in the region. <\/p>\n\n<p>On the occasion of the 62nd anniversary of GKS Katowice, we officially signed a cooperation agreement that will take training and team management to an entirely new level. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>What does this mean for GieKSa?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to the expertise of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 AI in digital models and data analysis<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tools and projects aimed at improving sports performance (monitoring, analytics)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Co-creation and testing of new technologies<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strengthening the club\u2019s image as an organization that leverages advanced technologies and data<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>What does this mean for \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 AI?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Access to high-quality real sports data (training sessions, matches, player parameters)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunities to conduct research and implementations in a real professional sports environment<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Potential for commercialization of scientific research results<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>References and case studies from a professional sports club<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p><strong>New opportunities at the intersection of science and sport<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>This collaboration demonstrates the great potential that lies in combining the worlds of science, technology, and professional sport. By using analytical tools and artificial intelligence, it becomes possible not only to better understand training processes but also to develop innovative solutions that may find applications in other areas in the future. <\/p>\n\n<p>It is also another example of how advanced technologies can truly support practice \u2014 in this case on the field, during training sessions, and in the daily work of the coaching staff.
