On March 3\u20135, 2026, Drone World Expo 2026 took place in Nadarzyn alongside the Warsaw Security & Defence Expo. The event is one of the most important platforms in the region showcasing unmanned technologies \u2013 from autonomous systems and BVLOS operations to dual-use solutions applied in security and defense. <\/p>\n\n

The conference program included a discussion panel dedicated to the role of artificial intelligence in the economy, public administration, and security. Jan Micha\u0142 Kozak, Director of \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 AI, took part in the discussion.The conversation covered, among other topics, the development of machine learning, the application of algorithms supporting crisis management, and methods of transferring technology from research institutes to practical applications in industry and the security sector. <\/p>\n\n

On the last day of the expo, Wiktor Koz\u0142owski, an engineer from \u0141ukasiewicz \u2013 AI, delivered an expert presentation titled \u201cFrom Flight to Detection.\u201d<\/p>\n\n

The presentation highlighted the evolution of modern unmanned systems, which are increasingly serving as mobile analytical platforms. Thanks to artificial intelligence algorithms, drones can process data from sensors in real time \u2013 detect objects, analyze their surroundings, and support operators in decision-making.Such solutions are used in areas including reconnaissance and defense operations, search and rescue missions and monitoring environmental threats such as forest fires.<\/p>\n\n

The integration of unmanned technologies with data analytics and artificial intelligence significantly enhances response capabilities in crisis situations and improves the effectiveness of operational activities.<\/p>\n\n
